Placing an order

International Customers
The MicroBioLogics product line is available worldwide through a family of authorized distributors. These distributors are in regular contact with our Customer and Technical Support departments and receive periodic training by MicroBioLogics representatives. We are proud to have such quality representation spanning the globe.

All international customers must contact an authorized distributor within their country to place an order. You will be asked to register for the ATCC Licensed Derivative® Program and agree to the terms of use.

U.S. Customers
Customers located within the United States may purchase MicroBioLogics products through an authorized distributor. You will be asked to register for the ATCC Licensed Derivative® Program and agree to the terms of use.

Be prepared to give the following information with your order:


* Customer Account Number 
* End User Registration Number
* Purchase Order Number or Credit Card Information (Credit
   Card Authorization Form is required)
* Tax Exemption Information (Certified Exemption Form
   must be kept on file)
* Billing Address
* Shipping Address
* Telephone Number and/or Email Address
* MicroBioLogics' catalog numbers, quantities, and product 
   descriptions.

IMPORTANT: Products are non-returnable. Order processing is initiated immediately making it difficult to accommodate deletions or modifications. Additions are processed on a separate invoice. Order errors or omissions must be reported within seven (7) business days of receipt.

Online Order Request
Our website, www.microbiologics.com, includes an interactive catalog with a shopping cart. You can easily browse the catalog and add products to the shopping cart. When you are ready to place your order, you may choose to send an order request directly to MicroBioLogics electronically (U.S. customers only) or you may print the list and submit it to your preferred authorized distributor. This request will not be considered an order until eligibility is established and you are contacted to confirm the information.

Products are listed using the U.S. Suggested Retail Pricing and subject to change, surcharge/handling fees, shipping fees, exchange rates, royalty fees and other fees are not included in the total.

ATCC Licensed Derivative® Program
Your organization will be asked to sign an End User Agreement in order to purchase lyophilized microorganism preparations from MicroBioLogics. Most of MicroBioLogics lyophilized microorganism preparations contain ATCC® biological material. This agreement is part of the ATCC License Derivative® program that was created to ensure quality and address global responsibilities when handling such materials. ATCC applies a 15% royalty fee on all products containing ATCC® biological material. In order to receive these products, an authorized representative from your organization must agree to the terms of the End User Agreement. It is mandatory that your organization register before we are able to process your order.

Ordering Policies
Credit Card Purchases
MicroBioLogics Inc. welcomes the use of VISA®, MasterCard®, and American Express®. Inquiries regarding credit card purchases are welcome.

Terms
All invoices are payable “net 30 days.”

Past due invoices are subject to finance charges of 1.5% per month.

Shipments will be held on accounts 60 days in arrears.

The purchaser is responsible for all applicable state sales and use taxes.

Shipping and Delivery
Orders are assumed to have a shipping date of “as soon as possible” except when a shipping date is requested.

Call MicroBioLogics Customer Service for your area’s delivery schedule.

All shipments are F.O.B. St. Cloud, Minnesota, unless prior arrangements are made.

Diagnostic Specimens
Lyophilized microorganisms are identified as diagnostic specimens. As such, the lyophilized microorganisms are subject to regulated packaging materials, special labeling, declaration forms, and special shipping requirements. Fees, additional labor, and material costs are incurred to meet these requirements. The costs associated with diagnostic specimens shipments and freight charges are listed as separate line items on the invoice. Slides are subject to surcharge/handling fees.

Damaged Materials
Should any products arrive in a damaged condition, the carrier must note the condition on the delivery receipt.

Restricted Countries
Please note that MicroBioLogics, Inc. may not ship products to the countries listed on the "Office of Foreign Assets Control; Sanctions Program and Country Summaries". Please refer to the
U.S. Department of the Treasury web site for the current list.
